Sailing in the City

The project was created and established by the Royal Yachting Association Scotland in 2004, to provide local and accessible sailing opportunities for children between 8 and 14 years of age. SITC aims not only to introduce children to the amazing sport of sailing but also to encourage them to continue once they have got involved.

SITC operates all over Scotland from inner city park ponds in Edinburgh and Glasgow to harbours on the Outer Western Isles and lochs in the highlands

• Explain 'Sailing in the City' its set up and session delivery
• Advertise the 2007 Programme and events as they happen
• Encourage young people to get involved and try sailing
