This group has members from both the voluntary and commercial sector, and includes Active Schools and Sea Cadet units from across the council areas as well as outdoor education, from Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Dunbartonshire.
This group had their first meeting on 19th April, in Glasgow, which was a successful gathering of representatives from across the areas involved, and from a variety of organisations - Outdoor Education depts, Active Schools, Sea Cadets, sailing clubs and sailing centres. This group are working on information and ideas to be placed on this website, and any suggestions are welcome. Please email jane.campbellmorrison@ryascotland.org.uk with ideas or links.
The group has subsequently had a number of meetings, and run a couple of events, giving local people the chance to try sailing as close to home as possible.
The papers from recent meetings are on the right hand side of this page along with the adverts for the office bearers required for this group.
