Ayrshire, Inverclyde & Renfrewshire Sailing (AIRS) 

The group is the local voice for sailing, windsurfing and powerboating in Ayrshire, Inverclyde and Renfrewshire and has been running since 19th January 2011, and is a lively interested group of clubs, local authorities and commercial centres.

Meeting discussions have looked at the needs of the group, areas of development and good practice, and developing stronger links between each of the organisations. This has been demonstrated by links being created between local authorities and clubs, as well as with the local Centre of Excellence for Disabled Sailing, Castle Semple Watersports.

This group now has a Sailing Development Group Co-ordinator, Carol-Ann Brown, who can be contacted on sdg6@ryascotland.org.uk. She is there to facilitate the events and developments required by the group, and to answer any queries that individuals in the area may have. Carol-Ann is keen to build up there pages, to provide information on activity within this area, so please do drop her an email with information on club/ centre activities and events that you are running.
