Thursday 17^th September 2009 was a gloriously sunny day with a gently wind. Perfect for SailLaser’s OnBoard launch.

It was a fun evening with something for everyone.

Thirty five kids from local schools who just started sailing earlier this year had a mini regatta. These kids have all been attending SailLaser’s OnBoard club one evening a week.

Joy rides were provided for parents and children. These were very popular and the three Bahia’s were in demand with 32 kids and adults getting out for a sail.

More experienced sailors had the pick of the Laser fleet.

While not on the water there was pavement chalking, games and a colouring competition. Well done to Robyn for winning with your very colourful picture.

Many people visited including Class Reps, representatives from the local council and Strathclyde Loch Sailing Club members.

It was great to see how well SailLaser have become part of the local community and are providing a great introduction to sailing to over 330 pupils and 150 youth and community group kids together with adult novices and experts.
