The current system of licensing through the Adventurous Activities Licensing Service (AALS), which provides larger voluntary organisations and commercial providers of adventurous activities with a regulated inspectorate will be changing in April 2013.

Jamie Calder has been selected for the 2011 GBR Optimist Worlds team, becoming only the 4th Scot in history to go. He follows in the footsteps of his coach Robbie Burns, current 470 GBR Number 1, Luke Patience, and former Youth Squad member Anna Burnett.

Online applications are now being taken for two Dinghy Race Coach Level 2 Courses in May and a Windsurf version in July. The course will help you gain knowledge and experience in order to provide quality race training sessions at club and squad level.
