One of the main areas of work in RYA Scotland is the support and development of clubs throughout Scotland. Currently there are 153 clubs affiliated to the RYA in Scotland, and there are approximately 30 clubs who are not yet affiliated, and all of these clubs require support and help to develop their links with local communities and to improve their facilities. To address this we hold a number of events throughout Scotland looking at issues affecting clubs, and clubs are free to request meetings with the RYA Scotland Development Manager to look at their individual needs.

Clubs are staffed by volunteers, and therefore have questions to be answered, often outwith working hours, and this document is intended to try to answer most of the questions that you have, at a time that suits you best. We have attempted to include as many different aspects of club life as possible within this document, and hope that it provides you with the thought provoking information required.
