Development Manager of RYA Scotland

I joined RYA Scotland in January 1997, following 11 years teaching skiing and sailing all over the world. I am responsible for the development of the Sailing Development Groups Programme, Coach & Instructor education, Volunteer Development, Club Development, across all disciplines throughout Scotland.

I started sailing with my dad, aged 3, and progressed with him through various dinghies and keelboats, and raced in Cowes Week with him in his last yacht. I now sail an RS 400, when time permits, and thoroughly enjoy powerboat cruising as well - I'm always to offers for time on the water!

Interesting Facts 

• I was the youngest Coach Assessor ever appointed by the RYA in 1994
• The rudder on my 400 has been coloured to match the hull – pink!
