Chief Operating Officer

I was appointed to the position of Chief Operating Officer in May of 2010, coming from a similar role in equestrianism.  I am responsible to the Management Committee for all aspects of RYA Scotland activity.

Sailing is my first passion; I have sailed on and off through most of the last 18 years.  I am an RYA Dinghy Coach Assessor and Powerboat Instructor and have dabbled at or in most aspects of RYA interest.

I have a degree in Oceanography, studing at Southampton University in the 90's, and maintain an interest in Performance Psychology.

Interesting facts:

• I am also a coach of Skeleton Bobsleigh and have competed for the British Army.
• I was RS400 2006 Scottish Champion
